Welcome To Walking In Grace Ministries

My personal Bible Study in which I share the scriptures I have been reading and the verses God is using to speak into my heart, as well as how He wishes for me to apply it to my life. Bible study may consist of word study, verse mapping or daily readings. I’ve tried to make this a bible study that anyone can pull up, read and gain understanding with.

Scriptures for today: Psalm 125, Ecclesiastes 1, and Hebrews 4.

Psalm 124:4 “Lord, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart.” See my heart Lord. Know that I am trying to do good and bless me Lord.

Hebrews 4:1 “Therefore, since the promise of entering His rest (heaven) still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.” I must continue to chase after and pursue God everyday. I am alive never stopping never resting until that day when I’m called to give account for my life.

Hebrews 4:7 “…’Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” Keep me soft and pliable. Everchanging and growing in faith as you mold me.

Hebrews 4:12 “For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Double edged sword – often used to describe something that can have both favorable and unfavorable consequences.

“The double – edged sword has two sharp edges so it can cut in two directions when handled by an accomplished swordsman. The Word of God has proven itself to be sharper than any two edged sword. It separates the truth from the lie by sharply cutting to the quick. It can cause someone to sharply change the direction of their life when its applied to ones life. Just as a sword can save a life so can the application of biblical truths.” – John O Gara

Hebrews 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

God is so merciful and good. He doesn’t judge us by the worlds standards but by His own and He doesn’t see just outward actions and motives but also what is truly going on in our hearts. But most importantly He willingly served the “time” we deserved when He died on the cross to cover our sins. This “time” served came at a cost: the death of His son Jesus however it released many of His creation back into His loving arms. You see before this if you sinned you were required to offer a sacrifice to the Lord (birds, cattle ect..). You were constantly keeping track of your sins, sacrifices and offerings to the Lord; putting your focus on these things and not your relationship with Him. But He longed for the relationship. He longed for us. So He sent Jesus as a one size fits all sacrifice for our sins in order for us to come back into communion with Him. He finally got the relationship He desired from His creation (before sin crept in) and all He required is that we ask Jesus to forgive us and cover us with his sacrificial blood and aim to sin no more.

We are all going to be held accountable for our actions when we die. We will stand before God just as it says in Hebrews 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” NOTHING is HIDDEN all our sins will come to light before God. According to Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.” God cannot even look at us if we have sinned. So what’s to be done? Everyone sins, God cannot look at us if we have sinned therefore we are ALL destine for Hell if a solution cannot be found. But Glory to God there IS a solution: JESUS. By His death and resurrection we are covered in His sacrificial blood making us clean. What was once dirty and sinful, unable to even be looked upon by God is now clean and sin free. A person washed free of all their failings, standing before God CLEAN. Smiling upon us as good and faithful servants of His. That’s were I want to be. I don’t want to get to heaven with a doubt in my mind that I may be destined for HELL. If you are unsure of your outcome when you stand before God I urge you to Call on Jesus and ask Him to come into your heart, cover you with his sacrificial blood and lead, guide and direct your steps. If you wish to do this and are unsure how to go about it just click on the link at the top of the page labeled Do You Know Jesus? This link will lead you in the steps you need to take and how to live out your christian walk.

Well I’ve tried to make this a bible study that anyone can pull up and read. My hope is that you will read the scripture and find new meaning in the verses placed in front of you. I also pray that you would be brave and bold enough to share them with myself and the rest of the world here on my page. Just drop a comment down below, with the scripture reference and what the Holy Spirit is speaking into your heart. Because God speaks to each and every one of us through His Word and there is a lot we can learn from one another. ———>Walking in Grace, Teresa.
